29 January 2008 - Embarrassing blunder by professional Israel-haters

Sara Roy is a well-known figure in these parts. She's a member of the Harvard faculty who frequently draws attention to her radical views on Israel by playing on the fact that her parents are Holocaust survivors, all while claiming that Israel exploits the Holocaust.

Recently, Roy co-wrote an op-ed claiming that the Israelis were starving the Palestinians in Gaza by reducing flour shipments by 99 percent. Martin Kramer points out that her calculations imply that Palestinians in Gaza normally consume half a ton of flour per person per day.

Looks like there's more yeast than flour in Roy's half-baked fulminations.
